FABSCRAP is a non-profit that is working hard to keep fabric scraps out of landfills. Based out of New York City, this organization is helping fashion brands put an end to textile waste. Each week they rescue more than 5,000 pounds of discarded fabric from making its way to landfills. That is impressive work and a great example of how we can work together to reuse and recycle materials to give them new life.
