Their variety of well-crafted goods and accessories are made with the utmost attention to detail, and a free-flowing spirit that has a very “loose understanding” of time. At Dally their goal is to grind and hustle, but to push their speedometers back the other way. That leisurely spirit is the guiding force behind everything that they do at Dally. They are letting go of any rigid constructs of time, and invite you to come experience a little more of what you have been missing!

The Dally Botanical Hand Wash is made from all-natural ingredients and is free of artificial colors, fragrances, toxins, or parabens. Each scent in the full collection takes you to a familiar place – a wide-open lawn in the summer, a remote white sandy beach, and a relaxing grove in the late afternoon sun. Let yourself unwind and slow down to these three unique time zones. Where time does not actually matter at all!

Stress Relief During the Pandemic and Beyond

Feeling stressed? It is understandable. For many individuals, this past year has really put their mental health to the test. There have been changes happening around us that have been out of our control. As a result, it is important that we take the time to decompress and unwind regularly. Which means taking a step back from the things that feel overwhelming.

We cannot avoid the stress in our lives completely, but we can certainly take action to reduce its impact. What causes stress for one person may not have the same effect on another person. It is important to understand what triggers your stress and manage it accordingly. A prolonged period of stress, otherwise known as chronic stress, has been shown to suppress your immune system, increase blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and exacerbate underlying conditions like anxiety and depression.

Recognizing and coping with stress in a positive and healthy way can be a great benefit for both you and your family. And by taking care of yourself, you are better equipped to take care of others. Here are some healthy stress relief tips, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC):

  • Connect with others. Throughout mandated lockdowns and social distancing, it can sometimes feel like you are on an island all by yourself. Which is why it is important to remain connected to the people you care about in whatever way works best for your situation. Even though you may not be able to see that individual  in person, connect over a phone call or video call. Even sending text messages and emails can help you feel connected. When faced with stress and uncertainty, it is important that we do not lose sight of what is most important to us in our lives.
  • Take care of your body. You have heard the old saying, “my body is a temple”. Over this past year we may have been a little more relaxed with treating it as such. Taking care of your body can mean many different things to different people. A few great ways to do so include getting plenty of sleep, exercising regularly, drinking water, eating healthy, and being aware of your emotions. A great way to make this more fun is by setting up a family competition or challenges. For example: designate awards for whoever takes the most steps in a week or a month. This is a great way to get the kids involved!
  • Unplug. We have the world at our fingertips. Literally. Between our phones, computers, tablets, televisions, and radio stations, we are consistently receiving updates on all that is happening around us. Some of which can be upsetting and can cause additional stress in our lives. It is important that we be informed, but we should also  find time to disconnect from the noise. Why not take a Saturday and venture out on a local trail  as a family? You can pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the day without any outside interruptions.

These are just a few of the many ways that you can cope with stress in your life. In the words of Dally, never forget to take the time to slow down and simply enjoy a slower paced lifestyle.
