Since our founding in 1990, Enviro-Tote™ has been dedicated to creating environmentally friendly promotional tote bags that make a positive impact on our planet. As a family-owned, and woman-owned and operated company with a commitment to sustainability, we have grown into a respected leader in the eco-friendly bag industry. Here’s a look at our journey, our values, and the craftsmanship behind every bag we produce.
Our Beginnings
Enviro-Tote™ began its operations in Manchester’s historic Millyard, a testament to our connection to local industry. We purchased stitching equipment from Pandora, a garment giant that was closing its doors after providing decades of work to local stitchers. By recycling Pandora’s stitching machines and hiring their skilled stitchers—many of whom are still with us today—we laid the foundation for a company built on sustainability and quality.
Commitment to Sustainability
Our bags are made from unbleached and colored cotton, certified organic cotton, and The Bottle Bag™, a unique material crafted from 100% PET. This commitment to eco-friendly materials is just one aspect of our broader sustainability efforts. We ensure that all our products are American made, with American service, and American quality.
One of our core principles is to generate as little waste as possible. Our efficient cutting and stitching methods, along with precise printing techniques, eliminate fabric waste. In fact, all our standard sizes are designed to produce no fabric waste. Additionally, we recycle all office paper, cardboard, cans, and bottles. And of course, we use our Enviro-Tote bags when we shop.
Craftsmanship and Customization
Each Enviro-Tote™ bag is individually cut, hand-stitched, and screen-printed at our plant in tax-free Londonderry, New Hampshire. Our company prides itself on the quality and care that goes into every bag. By cutting fabric only after an order arrives, we can provide custom sizes and styles as easily as our standard offerings. This allows us to meet the unique needs of our customers, who use our bags for company promotions and special events across the U.S. and around the world.
Employee and Community Focus
Since our inception, we have grown from 12 to over 60 employees, many of whom have been with us since the beginning. We value our employees and their contributions, which is reflected in our affiliation with the Fair Labor Association as a Category C licensee. Our company culture emphasizes harmony and attention to detail, ensuring that every bag we produce meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
